John K. Toal, CPA

John K. Toal (Shawn) received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Fairfield University and a Master’s Degree in Taxation from the University of New Haven. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Connecticut.

He has represented numerous clients before the Internal Revenue Service Audit Division, Regional Appeals Office, and District Counsel’s Office and has obtained rulings from the National Office. Shawn has provided litigation support to numerous large law firms and to publicly traded companies.

Shawn has assisted many business and personal clients in business planning and analysis, mergers, acquisitions, sales of businesses, high net worth client issues, charitable foundation work and shareholder disputes. He also consults with clients on income tax, state and local taxes, and estate planning.
